The More You Know: Mouth Closing

Do you know how mouths are closed on the deceased? A needle injector, or sometimes needle and thread, is used to suture the mouth shut. A mouth guard, or cotton, is then placed inside to shape the mouth and prevent a sunken look. Sometimes a little bit of super glue may be used as well.
